I regularly take on commission work. This ranges from baby blankets and doggy jumpers through to home decor items and everything in between.

About Me
Hey, thank you for having a nosey at my website. My name is Bethan, the face behind Mrs McGregor’s Hook.
I live in Swansea with my husband James AKA Mr McGregor (though not the arch-nemesis of Peter Rabbit) and my springer spaniel Cookie. When I was a little girl my Mamgu used to crochet and I remember the house being filled with her wonderful creations. Growing up, my Mum was also a dab hand at fibre crafts including sewing, knitting and crocheting. Therefore it was no surprise that when I picked up a hook in 2018 after visiting the knit and natter group at Townhill Library, I never really put it down again.
Since those early days I’ve spent endless hours practising and challenging myself to make things I never dreamed I could. Even getting commissioned to make items for Michael Sheen, Rachel Riley and HRH King Charles
Now I am on a mission to spread the crochet love far and wide through my workshops! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just picking up a hook for the first time there will be a session that is perfect for you.
